Monday evening, decided to make another quick meal, that took about 30 minutes to make and tasted ABSOLUTELY delicious.
And that, ladies and gents, is how I love my chicken stir fry, with basmati rice. Enjoy :)
Ingredients:
Chicken fillet cut into strips
Broccoli
Red & Yellow Pepper
Mushrooms
Whole Onion
Soy Sauce
Chicken Spice
Ground Dhania/Coriander spice
Fresh Coriander
Garlic
Ginger
Chilli Flakes
1 1/2 Spoon of Maizena cornflour (or baking flour as substitute)
Basmati Rice
Quick cooking tip:
Marinade your chicken for 30 minutes with chicken spice, heap of garlic and ginger, dash of Worcester sauce and chillie flakes.
Heat oil in a pan and add marinated chicken
Fry marinated chicken until cooked and tender
Remove cooked chicken into separate bowl
Add your cut veges to the pot,
add onion and broccoli first, and let that fry for a few minutes,
then add peppers, then add mushrooms
Once slightly tender or depending on your preferred texture and crunchiness,
add chicken back into pot
add soy sauce (not too much but also depends on personal preference)
Mix pot's content with love
On the side, mix half a cup of warm water with your maizena cornflour
add to chicken pot
Let that thicken for a few minutes.
Once ready, add a little bit of garlic and ginger, and your fresh coriander.
Cover for a few minutes and stir fry is ready to serve.
And that, ladies and gents, is how I love my chicken stir fry, with basmati rice. Enjoy :)
